Protective netting can be fixed in many different way. Depending on the way you choose to fix it, you gonna have to ask the manufacturer to finish your netting accordingly.Raw netting without any finish can also be used but because the mesh of netting are still small putting all the weight pressure on one mesh the rish of damaging your netting increase.

Tape and Grommets on Protective Netting

One of the favorite way to install protective netting is to use “S” hook on ceiling for exemple and then attach the hook on grommets. To put grommets on piece of netting it required that a vinyl or polyester band of tape was sewn around or on the top of the net. Then the grommet passes through the tape at regular distance usually at every 1 or 2 feet.

Roped Protective Netting

The most usual method consist of sewing or passing rope through the mesh of the netting. The thickness of the rope will easlily support the weight of the overall net. Then there is many easy way to install the net. You still can use “S” hook or you can attach the net anywhere without problem. Some people will go with Ty-Raps around post or pass Ty-Raps through the mesh that are reinforced with rope and attach the Ty-Raps on “O” hook. We saw that often in the ice rink for spectator safety net.
